I came in with a check engine light and they took a look at my car right away without an appointment. Very patient in explaining what the issue was and fixed it on the spot. Great experience, highly recommend!

February 2026- I came in to Champaign from the St. Louis area for a conference. My car was about to die as I rolled into auto zone. They correctly diagnosed the problem as a bad alternator. They recommended Jacqui’s. Hosea answered his phone at 530 on Wednesday night & said he could fix my car while I was in town. He had my car ready the next day. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced! I was extremely pleased & grateful!!

It can be a challenge to find a competent and honest mechanic. I took my car to Hosea at Jaquie's for a brake job and he found a few other things, some of which be fixed for no charge. Extremely good prices and courteous service, no pressure or upselling. I'll be going back for my other automotive needs for sure. Support our local businesses.

Got a second opinion here after a dealership visit and had a great experience. Fair pricing, honest advice, and quality work. Hosea really knows his stuff.

Excellent service and price. They were able to look at my car and give me an estimate a couple hours after calling them. Full brake job was done within a few hours the next day. Apparently that was slow for them! Hosea, the mechanic, was great. Solid communication and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend trusting these guys with your car.
